Beetroot
Hi, having learnt my lesson with being too early on the seed front, please can anyone advise if it is too early to plant these beetroot seedlings in my outside raised bed? If it is too early, shall I leave them in the seed tray or pot them on individually? Thanks ever so much!

Depends where you have had them, they will need hardening off if they have been inside.
Grown in a greenhouse Mark, unheated.....
Depends where you live Tootles, I'm in the NW and if mine had germinated in an unheated GH, I'd harden them off and plant out, you can always put some fleece over them if it's forcast frost.
I think they'd be fine in there for a wee while yet. Mine are at the same stage and I'm not in a rush to get then into the ground just yet. ( North Devon here )
I best get mine sown!
I've never started veg off indoors before and was going to sow my Beetroot straight outside, now wondering whether I should have started it off in the GH? Probably too late now, I decided against it initially as I'm not very good at moving seedlings so thought it would be easier sowing where it is to grow???
Beetroot are normally direct sown outside, I don't know anyone who starts them inside but it can be done unlike carrots & parsnips which must be direct sown.
Thanks Mark.....outside it is then with my carrots and parsnips as usual
