Runner beans

in Fruit & veg
Hi,
In two weeks time I am going to pop the seeds into small pots and begin their germination inside on a windowsill. Should I transplant them outside in late May?? They are a dwarf variety and can be grown in pots... I would like them to grow more into a bush rather than long... is that possible?
Thanks

Thank you
Kay, after many years of growing runner beans, I've found that growing them in these black polythene pots to be the best & less trouble.......just sow the seed 10 to the pot. At planting-out time just slit the polythene and peel it away from the seedlings, separate & plant-out individually.

Edit: May 12th is the traditional day of sowing the seed.
Thanks David K
