It's great news Rosie. You've all worked so hard to make this happen. I wish I was in a better location to help shift stuff - I can do driving on weekends but there's a limit to how far I can go!
Perhaps if they were given the info, G'sWorld could put something in the magazine to thank the companies concerned.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
archiepam, if you want to tell your local or national news media that would be great; a little publicity wouldn't be bad; but more importantly it would remind people that the awfulness of the winter flooding did not end when the media stopped reporting on it. The more the public are aware of the ongoing horror of having been flooded, the more pressure is put on the Government to spend our tax money on doing something about it for future years so these poor families don't have their houses and gardens wrecked again.
(Never forget; the Government doesn't actually have any money of it's own; only the taxes we pay which they are expected to use sensibly on projects for the public good)
Charlie Nov, thank you! That might well be very helpful - please do keep popping back to this thread to see what is happening!
Sympathies on the garden - mine is just beginning to shrug off the wet winter and get into its stride. But I'm sure it will be blooming soon.... (including the weeds)

Nut, Chicky, AJ - you are so right! I'll make sure that lovely Framptons and the Palletline network get your messages - thank you.
