We took Pongo the Puppy on a new walk a couple of weeks ago and he discovered the farmer's slurry pit.   With immense delight, and a dive that Tom Daley would be proud of.   He sends wags to Flossie-Flo.

Sounds like Flossie's kind of chapimage

All these bumps I'm rather confused as to what is actually happening. Could someone please write a press release type post to update us all? It's lovely to keep seeing these threads coming back to the top but disappointing to to see its just a bump not some exciting news.

I'm taking 12 crates of plants down to Somerset tomorrow; am in slight panic, as can't reach Andrew who seems to run the plant creche. But hopefully, as it's a farmyard (?) I can just leave them there. Philippa tells me that it is obvious where to leave them.

Clarington, I don't think any particular person would know all the efforts that are going on, and I guess that sometimes several days go by without much happening. We all, I think, keep bumping the thread so that it does not get lost in the byzantine catacombs of old threads, since there may well be new members of the Forum who are interested in helping.image

Now I'm waiting for the rain to stop so I can fill all these crates...will take pics...amazing what can be fitted into an Astraimage

    That's right, Artjak!

I know we've now got arrangements for any plants that can get to Chicky in Guildford, and that AJ is heading down in a few days, and that Philippa is still regularly delivering plants...  but there may be other things happening too!

The only bit that I think we have really not cracked yet is a way of getting Gardenjeannie's plants down the M6.  Still looking for solutions to that one...

Philippa, thank you. Will just leave them on the concrete bitimage as he still has not got back to me; perhaps on his hols.

Hi AJ, I'm sure that will be more than fine.  I've sent Andrew a message through Facebook too, to let him know what is happening and asking him to tell me if there is any problem.

    Hi, All.

I am so sorry not to have been on lately.Have been computerless for a few wks, and it is still misbehaving, although OH figured a way to get it back online at least. Also, I am having busiest time of yr at mo, as I assume most of you are, but I have moulting dogs to groom and horses to prepare for shows (work) as well as garden to sort. Just realised I have not sat down in my living room for 3 wks!

Can anyone give me a quick update, without me having to read through?

I have been potting up divisions forever, it seems, many for sale for 2 charities close to my heart, but more available if we can sort my link. Place looks like a garden centre! Mostly perennials, hostas, hemerocallis, Iris, astilbes achillea, verbascum, yellow primrose, cowslips. Also a few shrubs. Some whose names I forget but will look up. Strwaberries, chives, Yucca. Celery, Celeriac, Tomatoes, Peppers (chili).

Don't have much time for forum at mo, but will try to check in weekly if computer behaves! Work, garden, kids, bed is my routine! Hopefully June will be easier! Will be sowing more perennials then, so more plants to go!

Still collecting seeds if anyone has any.

    Catch you all soon.

    Ruth. x
