Moss
My front lawn has a great deal of moss amongst the grass. If I put down a moss killer, I am afraid I will have an almost bare lawn. What should I do?

If you use a moss killer with a weed and feed treatment combined that will help-when the moss had died off you can rake it out then overseed any bare patches.
Moss tends to indicate poor drainage, so the very least to do after treating it would be to aerate the soil with a fork before preparing to re seed. Or you may well be back to square one again in a couple of years.
I raked the moss off my lawn, it was hard work but worth it and the moss didnt go to waste either because I put it in a fat ball feeder for the birds to use for their nests.
