Could someone please explain why the new growth on my varigated Aubretia is mainly yellow please?

It's probably reverted back, a trim and a feed after flowering may help. I wouldn't do it now as they are either in flower or about to so a haircut now would mean the loss of flowers. They're robust little things so a tidy up after flowering will do it good.
