There's a beautiful heather flowering in a garden in my village, and I'd love to identify it so that I can try to get hold of one.
It's a huge mound with vibrant purple flowers, and has been flowering for a couple of weeks now I think. Any ideas anyone?

I think it was probably "Challenger" on balance. Something like that anyway.
