At Last I`ve managed to put on a picture of our Bug Hotel ; Since then Pine cones have been added . The little gnome lights .. with solar power... each night to guide the bugs,of course particularly the moths .

I want a bug hotel, have a ladybird house and a converted bird box bee flat - now looking to upgrade to a 5 * hotel lol ! Going to try building one over the summer months. May steel herbgarden2 idea of the framework x

Love the pics of the bug houses, do you think slow worms may take up residence, I so my second one on the plot at the weekend, tried to post a pic on another thread of the first one but couldn't load it using the tree at the top.

The solar powered gnome is a good idea to attract our little friendsimage

There are fir cones on the top now and a little " Thrift "pink Rock plant ( just rests on the thin layer of compost) There are quite a few bumble bees around, I wonder if any will take to the shelter in the "hotel " next winter
