    I've still got last years heads on mine. I guess now is about time to cut back?
  • I don't Chelsea Chop mine but I do thin them out and that works well. I just genty pull the spindly shoots out and leave the vigorous - ie. thick and solid - ones. That stops them competing for light. They stay shorter and therefore less inclined to shoot up and then flop over.

  • Tricia 82..chop right to the base. Sounds harsh!! If you guys say its ok I will try the chop this year.
