Trouble with sycamore leaves, nutcutlet, is that they take o ver a year to rot down - or have you found a way of speeding it up? Do tell, coz in one of 'my' gardens the only leaves available are sycamore . I've made a heap but am not v hopeful of good leafmould.
Mow up the sycamore leaves Steve or use one of those sucky things that shreds as well, or put them through a shredder. That starts the breaking down process. I don't have much sycamore to deal with but field maple is much the same only smaller.
