Kerria japonica
Kerria, subject of a recent 'how can I get rid of it' thread
Ah Kerria, thanks for that I shall go read up on it, having trouble with another identification NC if you can help its posted on here a few minutes ago
I have Kerria japonica planted and growing through conifers, they must restrict it's spread as it's not a problem for me.
If you enlarge the photo & magnify, about 1/4 way in from the left there are ladybirds on the conifers.

Must read that, nut......damned weed!
Get you at playtime David, I like mine.
I've got one too. Its in a corner, love mine too, doesn't cause any problems just trim from time to time.
YesDavid, I'm with Kef
When I was a child we had a kerria growing through a pretty pink rose with viola odorata below - probably not planned that way but lovely
I can't get it to grow here; could in London
It grew happily on unimproved clay on the farm Artjak - your soil's probably too good!
