Arum lily

Hi iv recently put a arum lily in my pond and just wondering if it will survive?

Its in a aquatic basket and the top half of the plant is out the water

Also when winter comes am I best to lift it out the pond and put it in the shed till spring?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

They're pretty tough and will usually survive a UK winter if the crown of the plant is about 6" below the surface of the water - can you lower yours?

  • I'm in the northwest, bodes anyone know if arum llilies help clear the water, I once read this on google or is it just a myth?
