I look forward to all gardening shows and have learned a lot over the years. There was a channel on sky a few years ago dedicated to home and garden. Admittedly they were all repeats but a few had gone under the radar.  It would be good to have the option to see the old favourites again. Would be a cheap channel too.

p.s.  Nigel is a hero.  Never see him digging up any recently disturbed ground or running away with plant pots.  He even gave the twine back to Monty. That would never happen in my garden.image

Lesley - I loved that twine moment too!!  I think we are preaching to a home crowd on the subject of non-sports.  Not one person here has bothered to stress the merits of darts....!

Hey Hosta, steady on, you almost said something in favour of GW image

  • I love football and gardening and hope that they will both be available. It does frustrate me, even as a sports fan, that other programmes are cancelled. I certainly get an ear full from my OH when her favourite programs are cancelled.

Played by talented South Americans and lucky Germans!!  I don't have a good feeling for England at all this time round.  Not that I ever have a really good feeling, but sometimes I have a hint of 'you never know', but this time, I don't even have that.

  • If the team is set up around Rooney we will be in for a short tournament. I will head out into the garden to recover! Not sure what time the matches are being played. Will I need to garden by moon light!

  •  I support Liverpool & I ain't feeling happy!  image

Sadly I agree with you both. This is a pretty average England team.Italy up first is a really tough match followed by Uruguay with Saurez firing on all cylinders. We may well be playing for the wooden spoon by the time we meet Costa Rica.

You can still win it David.I'm an Everton fan and have a feeling we might do you a favour as regards Man City.
