Pollen beetles

Shredded petals on the narcissus spoil the flowers. Inside each flower are a dozen or so black pollen beetles.The edges of all the petals are being eaten. Earlier in the year my snowdrop flowers in the same area of the garden were completely eaten but I didn't see any beetles then.. Was this the same pest? and if so how can I control it? Sue
