split bark on mature magnolia
Really concerned that the beautiful Magnolia in our garden is going to die . My husband pruned it last year as the branches had obscured any view from our upstairs bedroom window. Now the trunk has a huge 'gash along it and so do some of the branches . Its in blossom at the moment but one or two areas dont have very much on them . I am really hoping we havent killed it ! Is there anything we can do to help it ?
thanks
