Chitted Spuds & Green Bugs

Just spotted some tiny green bugs on and in the sproutings on my chitted spuds
I have brushed them off delicatel;y with a pastry brush
? Any idea what they are
? Will they affect the spuds in the long er term
?Any other info please friends
Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.

Probably aphids. Just squidge them or brush them off or even rinse them under a tap. Aphids can pass on viruses that reduce the yield.
