The Best Way To Re-Pot an Orange Tree

Hello,
I have been looking after my parents potted orange tree ever since they moved house back in September.
Since doing this I have noticed that the pot they have it in is far too small and hasn't been re-potted or given fresh compost since planting ... over 15 years ago!
Would you agree that it is best for me to re-pot it into a larger pot with some fresh compost or seeing it has been like this for so long whether I should just leave it?
Opinions welcome.

Sorry I should have said, it's not in the best of shape, only a few branches with a few leaves on them ... let's just say it's not looking it's best lol
I'l be looking after it for the foreseeable future, they previously kept it in their conservatory but until they get one built at their new house it'l be residing in mine!
Give it a repot and some citrus compost (I've seen it for sale all over the place) and watch it grow ready to turn into a real beauty to give back to your parents. What a fantastic "moving" gift for them!
Thanks for both of your help!
Definitely something worth doing then and yes I was thinking it'd be great to give it back to them with a new lease of life!
