Good luck KEF! Here's hoping we get the lovely summer we're all wanting so that we have plenty of fruits of our labour (or in this case tomatoes - which reminds me; I must get the next batch going soon!)
This year I'm growing Marmande (beef type), San Marzano and Gardeners Delight. Have never grown beef toms before, in fact never bought them either; so it will be quite an adventure
San Marzano are good for cooking but I have a big fondness for Tigrella here in Spalding, South Lincolnshire (the district is known as South Holland). I grow lots of different varieties some of which I have forgotten the name of as I save a lot of tomato seed.
artjak I've grown beef toms before and in a good summer they've been lovely. Due to size they take a lot longer to mature and ripen, fewer fruits, but a lovely ripe one sliced with a piece of Feta on the top yumee....

Thanks Clari, I'll be sewing mine at the weekend.
I prefer to sow seeds...
iGrow, which toms do you grow in Holland ?
KEF, (I'm whispering this so as not to embarrass you) South Holland is part of Lincolnshire
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Ooops just shows I can't multi task. Sewing, knitting scarves, and sowing toms.
Soz iGrow. However, what toms do you grow for taste ?
Thanks Dove.
