I live in a row of 4 houses with no fences between us, it is very communal with a constant parade of cats coming to say hello, as well as their owners. Having said that we are not often out in the garden at the same time, so I sit and enjoy the sunshine and quiet with at least one cat next to me. It's the pets garden too and I think it is nice to see Nigel and Monty together in the garden. It reflects what is going on in gardens around the country.
I think we all agree about a longer programme, let's start bombarding the Beeb with emails!
Yes we missed Nigel too, glad to hear we may get to see him soon. We have a cat who supervises us when we are in the garden we call him "the Clerk of Works" it is very enjoyable to have your animal companions with you as you potter about.
I am never in my garden without dog and cat. Sometimes they get wroing side of door ie inside and go frantic to join in the work in the garden. Would not be same without them as I am sure it is fir everyone else with pets.

We love Nigel. Monty and his dog, what a team
and yes definately a longer programme please !!!
According to a twitter comment- all will be revealed about Nigel's absence on this week's GW
Perhaps he has turned out to be a Nigella and will reappear with a few Nigelissimas in tow.
My cat is always in the garden when I am. Sometimes helping.....???
Maybe she was warming up the soil?
This is next door's cat, enjoying a planter of mine...
Great to see Nigel back on his paws in this evening's programme!
