Blimey I was almost lulled into a false sense of security, thinking this was more a cautionary thing.  I have a small pond.  And one of the neighbours dogs found it and fell in.  It was just as well I was out there.  The dog stank.  Thinking of getting rid of our pond, as I can't handle the mosquitoes any more.  The best thing about winter is not having them about.

I'm trying mosquito crumble. It seems to work, for a while at least. This type of thing. Wildlife safe, they say, apart from the mozi kind of wildlife. I'm allergic to bites, so would get rid of the water if I can't find a caste iron solution.
