  • I bought Pennys Pink from Homebase the other week, went in for my free primroses out of The Telegraph and couldn't resist either, mine looks bit darker, thats why they give u the free plants aint it? To get u in.

    I'm afraid it dos'nt take that much to lure me into a garden centre, and then I'm shocked by my complete lack of self control when there's something new or a different colour to the one I already have, hopeless.

    Lisa, I'm better than I was now that I'm retired and don't work next door to one GC - but it doesn't help that my OH works in a farm shop on the same site as another GC and of course I go there to do the food shopping ......... well, once the car's parked there ............... image

    I can resist GCs very easily.

    Plant fairs and online seed suppliers are where I lose it

    There's a lot of plants still to be grown aren't there. I think I may have had some losses over this winterimage
