lillie bulbs gone soft,are they any good..?

friend gave me some lillie bulbs which have gone soft and i dont know wether to chuck them or plant them..?

Unless they have just been lifted -and from your description that sounds unlikely-they must have been sitting around for 9 months-ditch them
