I planted some lily bulbs over a month ago... I live in Arizona and some of the lily's I had last year were already growing back, but I was told with the new lily's to freeze them till they were ready to plant and they don't seem to be growing. Did I kill them by freezing them before I planted them?
Nichole - freezing has a tendency to turn plants to mush so I think that was really bad advice. In my experience, lilies should be planted immediately, in pots of the ground is too heavy or too cold. They can be kept in display pots or else planted out when the soil is warm enough.
Personally, I find growing them in pots means it's easier to keep an eye out for lily beetle and I can also move them somewhere prominent to enjoy the blooms and any perfume and then tuck them somewhere discreet after flowering is over and they build up energy for next year's display.
As for your glads A1, it depends on where you are, how cold it has been and how deeply they were planted but the general advice for UK gardens is to lift and store away from frosts.
