well we were promised rain for hre for last two days.. yesteray some rain in the afternoon.. nothin major appeared adn today no rain at all.. just few spit spots at times.. ver hot and muggy again this weekend..
Rain - nearly all day, apart from a brief period of non-rain this morning. Still raining. Still miserable - yet another Bank Holiday washout. (And I also keep signed in rather than logging in each time. Seems to work - apart from the times that the adverts over-write the top of the page!)
Two days of rain and it has been relentless today with the wind picking up late afternoon.
It was a friends birthday so went to a bar-be-cue yesterday, half expected it to be cancelled...I should be so lucky, the rain didn't put to much of a dampener on things, I lent them a gazebo so at least the food was cooked outdoors and a good time was had by all despite everyone getting a tad bit wet.
I never sign out and have it on my favourites so I just hit the button. Late Saturdays Sundays and Bank holidays I hit the button and it comes up but at the beginning of the thread which in the case of some can be 4000 from the current postings. It can also take a long time to get into the thing and then that advert covers the top. I did sort out an update today which had me tearing my hair out and at the moment bring up the thread then at the top of the page press "go to latest unread message", this seems to work where as normally it takes me there without the hassle. See what tomorrow brings when they are back in the office.
It has not been a good day apart from a few hours sun this morning from then on we had wind storms rain storms and it got quite cold, every one back at work tomorrow so it is bound to be fine.
I know tht there are occasional problems, Frank - but I've never had it consistently at a BH. Perhaps there's a random hassle selector that picks on unfortunates - and for some reason you are it
Oh and talking of adverts, is it just a coincidence that there's an ad at the side of the page for Boden clothing : "A spanking new range"? I wonder if it's a reference to Fifty shades of Grey ???
i also stayed signed in .. makes it easier to get here faster.. thou i also found at times it doesnt take me to first unread page... the top advert bothers me at times.. as i hover over my section under my name it alwasy brings up the damn thing..
