Rain all day, 6°, but there are some daffodils coming out, but mostly the cream ones. The yellow ones usually come out first, but most of them seem to be blind. Could that be because we had a drought in 2011 that lasted until May 2012? No local hay for sale in 2011, bought it in Northern France for 3 times the price.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

It is sunny and dry but having been out most of the day - visiting- I can assure you that the wind is soooo cold. First thing this morning there was a dusting of snow on the Hills.

Daffodils still only thinking about opening out

Another wet day. I'm on leave Monday and Tuesday, so here's praying for dry weather.

Sowed more seeds today, toms and peppers are now started. Also sorted the seed box.... Oooh...it was like looking through a treasure chest. There were loads of radish, spring onion and carrots. The carrots must have been freebie's as I've never been able to grow them. If I sowed one seed each of the tom varieties there wouldn't be enough room to grow them all...makes a mental note to stop buying tom seedsimage

Bunny..The instructions on one tom variety, Cerise are in French image will need to check on line if it's a bush or cordon image. Clearly that one was bought because of the pretty picture on the packet, it looks to produce loads of toms on the vine.image

I'm pretty sure that "Cerise" is a cordon tomato, on my french packet it says (in French) to pinch out the side shoots.
