The Fens; Quelle suprise! It's raining. The garden is a sodden mess, but I know it can only get better.

    Wet, windy, dark.

Went out to take rain water reading this morning to find that the wind had blown over the pot with the rain gauge in!

Don't know what has just happened imageimageimage sorry!

Wet, still dark & windy in WManchester today.

Not particularly cold, but because it's so dark we've popped the heating on for a bit. Roll on some sun which always helps cheer things up. J.

    Just been doing some sums

Novenber my garden had 123.5mm of rain. Most of that fell in the 10 days from 20th to end of month

In Decenber there was 118mm again most of it fell in latter end of month ie from14th

Add them up and it was a hell of a lot

Now back to excell to try to do charts for next year - can't remember how though. Back to Office for Dummiesimage

Stockton went out when it was cold and grey came back warm sunny and clear sky above. The wind had changed from north to west, the cloud had gone south over the hills and the sun was right in my face coming home so the sun visor was down.
I was supposedly going to the shops for some fresh veg but could not even get on the car park so drove on, the next lot even worse so gave up and went to Daughters for a cuppa. Frozen veg tonight from my stock pile.

    Frank.

Tinkling N Y. I believe it is a yellow thingy in the sky; my grandparents told me about it many years ago; but I think it is just a myth.image

  • The clouds have now mostly cleared and a beautiful blue sky appeared here (nr Leicester.)  Unfortunately, the sun has just set! image  Oh well, a couple of glasses of "liquid sunshine" will no doubt brighten up the day, later!image
