Dry today, thank goodness. Never stopped yesterday. 'Tis cold though. Am beginning to get a bit concerned about heating bills. 24 hours a day for 3 months!!
Damp and murky again After all the rain yesterday everything that was beginning to dry out is squelching.
I have just re-covered my pot with fleece and put some young plants back in the GH, and covered the seedlings with fleece hoping I have protected them enough against the coning cold spell
It's 14° now, sun and cloud, not raining. Meteo France said there would be snow on Monday but it's changed it's mind. It will be down to 7° on Wednesday.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Right, thermal vest, wellies, scarf, thermal gloves, waterproof coat and hat and that's just to take the dog out, 15 tog quilt and electric blanket for bedtime I'm going back into hibernation, the highest it's got to today was 2.3c, rained most of the day, woke up to my usual little flood in the corner of the garden so the ground is now back to where it was 6 weeks ago, sodden big time, the snow today hasn't turned up yet but it's still there for tomorrow
