    I pity your flood Rainjustlearning!

I have a nesting pair of Blackbirds in my Ivy, right above my kitchen window. I'm so happy about that image

Wintersong - had blackbirds in the ivy on the wall opposite my kitchen window a few years ago - lovely to watch - until one of the nestlings fell into the 'water feature' below- have felt guilty ever sinceimage Weather here in Chester persistent to say the least, which is why I'm on here instead of out there.

Rain, rain and rain in North Yorks.

Borders looking like Rain's, too, and part of the lawn - the ground is saturated, and local rivers breaking their banks.

Teesside, Sun all the way today after the crashing rain which went on for hours yesterday afternoon and evening. Out all morning along the back lanes, you can see the hills from Eston Nab through Roseberry Topping and Arden Great Moor a lovely view when it is clear as today.
Noticed in my local village the Cherries are in full bloom and also the Horse Chestnut trees, nearly all the trees are now coming up to a full canopy, nature is sneaking in under the rain clouds. Most of the fields up the lanes have water laying in them it does not seem to bother the sheep.
it appears we play war about the weather but the Flora &Fauna just gets on with things.

    Frank.
