    GreenHouse Girl.

Before you move make sure that you have stated to the seller (if you're selling the house) that you will be removing the plants from the garden. We've seen on this site several tales of complications occurring due to plants being removed after the sale was agreed!

Apart from the legalities of the situation as mentioned above, transplanting daffodils when they're about to flower are likely to result in failure, unless very large rootballs are taken and transplanted immediately.  Daffs don't like root disturbance when they're in active growth in my experience.

  • Thankyou for replying,: regarding my bulbs etc removal from the garden this was stated and the people who are moving in are aware and do not have a problem with it,so thats fine image.

Dovefromabove I am willing to take the risk so large rootballs and minimal disturbance is the way forward ,wish me luck ! image. and thanks again.

...and you will be filling the holes that are left? And are you sure that there aren't zillions of daffs where you are moving to?image
