Is it too soon to split sedums?

WendeyWendey Posts: 1

My garden, like everybody else's, is well ahead  of where it usually is at this time of year and I'm itching to get started on the tasks I have planned for Spring.  Top of my list is to divide my sedum Autumn Joy which grew very leggy last year but will I regret my haste if winter decides to put in an appearance? I garden on a fairly exposed site in NW England and typically I wouldn't do jobs like this until April.

I've just split mine up. They are best split while the new shoots are small.
