Eddie seriously? that is some renovation.

And that is just the front!!image

The edit facility ran out to soon, this should have gone in the middle.

All work was carried out by me. I must be mad!!!

The steps are still just about intact behind the ladder.

  •  very wet and windy here in york ,had to go out in the garden as my next door

neighbours fence had come down right on top of my jewel garden everything flattened and broken ,his guttering down as well so all the rain flooded my potting shed .

oh happy days maybe there is a god for us gardeners ,wish he would show us some good weather so much to do .image

Just a couple more before and after of the front.

Again late 2008, and then just a few mins ago in bad light. The remaining firs are in the neighbours garden, or they wouldn't be standing now either. Again all work was carried out by myself.

Sue you have my sympathies, it sounds heartbreaking, will you be able to rescue any of it?

on my way to hike at Keet Seel in Arizona. camped last night at Ely, Nv. no cathedral but this is the view from my camp-the mt. is 14,000 ft. to Hovenweep today and the adventure begins-I love road trips.

  • thanks Kate , yes i think so will put them back for this year but here's hoping ,

i have been asking him for weeks to fix it but he has 3 dogs and i cant go in his garden or i would have done it myself .no worries my brothers gonna build me a wall so that should do it .image

image Sorry for Sue! I would be in tears although I'd bounce back by tomorrow. Good luck remedying the disaster!

That is a real shame Sue. It is bad enough  when events like this happen just through bad weather, but when a problem is already known, that really grates. We had a similar thing with a neighbours tree in the last lot of bad weather. I told the neighbour that their tree was dangerous, but they choose to ignore me, and sure enough it fell down across not only our garden but two adjacent ones as well. People are sometimes just so ignorant about taking advice, how ever well put.

    David, that view is stunning.image

  • Thanks eddie j and wintersong ,yes it is annoying but hey i will sort it ,am having a week off then i will be fighting fit and ready to tackle my garden .watch out weeds and annoying neighbour !!!!!!!!!!!  i will put some pics on when i return
