House plant question - growing a new one
in Plants
I have been rooting this baby Spider plant in water and just wondered how long the roots need to be before I pot it? Are these ok or should I leave it a bit longer?

Thanks.

What I tend to do is to add some compost to the water, so it's sort of slushy, until it's got some better roots, then add more compost and let it grow on a bit, then transfer to a pot.

That sounds like a good idea Dove, I've never done that before but then I haven't tried to root many plants before. I'll give it a go, thank you
