Hi Lesley - don't use the cheaper packs of seed as they contain lots of barley as a filler which pigeons love. If that's not the issue then you may have to resort to bird scarers as they're not too brave. Hanging the feeders somewhere that's difficult for bigger birds to get into is also another solution, even if it's temporary. A simple cage of biggish guage mesh round the feeder will stop them getting in.
