Can You Identify This Plant?

I have just come across this plant at the back of my garden, I believe it may be a climber but apart from that I'm not sure what it is.
Can anyone help me?

Could be Vinca otherwise known as Periwinkle
Vinca major (leaf edges are ciliate).

Yes, vinca major -
I've got a clump blooming beautifully in my garden at the moment. It spreads by runners but each autumn/winter I cut back the old foliage and remove unwanted runners and pull out any unwanted new plants. The new growth in the very early spring is what carries the lovely blue flowers.

You can see the new growth on your photograph - it's a slightly lighter green .
