Pruning help
I've got a large, well established Strawberry Tree in the garden, which has been more exposed to coastal winds since next door had to remove their garage. It's now distinctly one-sided (the tree, that is, not the garage). Can anyone give me any tips on how best to prune it to try to get it more balanced and also a bit shorter, and also when to prune? I've seen plenty of information on pruning in general, but nothing specific about this type of tree.
Thanks to all!

Henry, you can safely cut it back to about 4ft. It will take a year to look good, but just go for it.Cut it just above a viable leaf node.
