Plant ID please

Got lots of this in the garden, it seems to be creeping about. Very low, ground cover, only a couple of inches high. And it feels furry, looks like it has tiny soft white hairs on it.

  • Possibly Cerastium  - Snow in Summer - pretty white flowers in the summer, spreads forming a carpet but easily controlled. 


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    It looks like Cerastium, Deb - or snow in summer. As the name suggests it has lots of white starry flowers through summer. It can be quite invasive in some gardens but it's useful ground cover. image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
