Got lots of this in the garden, it seems to be creeping about. Very low, ground cover, only a couple of inches high. And it feels furry, looks like it has tiny soft white hairs on it.
It looks like Cerastium, Deb - or snow in summer. As the name suggests it has lots of white starry flowers through summer. It can be quite invasive in some gardens but it's useful ground cover.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Possibly Cerastium - Snow in Summer - pretty white flowers in the summer, spreads forming a carpet but easily controlled.
