  • just an update, i have treated both front and back lawns with nemotodes, and have re seeded the lawns and are growing very nicely, i also have a second autumn pack of nemotodes ordered for the autumn and will treat it again then. will supply photos soon. thanks for all your help and advice.

another quandary, at the side of my house we have public walkway and in between our garden and the walkway we have very tall hedges, all different types, (they were there when we bought it) now, its got way too tall and is very top heavy which isn't the problem cutting that lower down, im wondering if we could give it a real good cut back on the side as we have a partially sighted lady that walks with her guide dog daily along there and i worry she is going to catch her face on it. would it grow back in the coming months if we cut it right back or remain leafless? there is fir types, japanese evergreen, ill try and get some photos when it stops raining.
