Peach for fan traing

Has anybody got any recommendations for a peach variety to fan train against a west facing Wall.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

  • Hi Dave, I grow 'Avalon Pride' and it does seem to be almost completely peach leaf curl resistant.  Good crops of full-size peaches, too.  Mine is planted close to a south-facing wall in my front garden (which is a bit of a suntrap.)  Fan-trained against a west-facing wall, a peach should do well.

    Cheers Bob.

  • No problem, Dave.  I forgot to mention that the (pink) blossom is pretty stunning too - I'm sure you won't be disappointed with this variety.
