Very much behind everyone else here but my first crocus in flower. They were supposed to be dark purple! I think this colour is like the Posh Paint colour called elephants breath
Quite amazed to see Kalmia Latifolia out in full bloom...along with most of the normals for this time of year...also frogs 'at it' thankfully with each other rather than the fish, which they have drowned in previous years...doves are canoodling too...lets hope when the blossoms bloom forth that they are not dessimated with a late frost, as we have had hardly any this year.
I planted a ring of Joan of Arc crocus round the bottom of the apple trees in pots. Only one out here so far. It's purple Just hoping the rest are J of A!

I created a woodland garden last year, by adding ferns, primroses and heucheras, plus a white border and by using the snowdrops, hellebores and acronites as a basis for the project. So far, so good.

Such a nice name! My crocuses just keep coming - Are some later than others?
