The snowdrops are indeed particularly good this year - not the numbers you have yet, but they are spreading well. Amused, and happy, to see that underneath a road sign just outside our drive, a goodly patch are growing - the birds must sit there when busily digesting the seeds - and nature does the rest - great.
Your snowdrops are looking lovely Berghill. I've had a clump in flower in a sunny front bed since mid December but no sign yet of the ones out the back and still in shade but when they do eventually come and then go over, I shall split them into my woodland area and maybe in 10 years time I'll have a display like yours.

I am busily spreading my clumps down from the butterfly garden and spinney into the middle garden ,my Persian Runner. the clump i divided up last year are making a good show already and have the odd self seeded one here and there. It was such a relief to see they liked their new home.
