Had a lovely break in London this weekend and was enchanted by the fragrance of this shrub growing near Tower Bridge. Would love to know what it is - any ideas please?

That's a Sarcococca confusa or Sweet Box, it does smell gorgeous!

Will it reseed from the black berries that develop?

Yes Joanne they are at their best at the moment the scent is amazing my whole garden smells of it almost like hyacinth but more intoxicating. You can but them now from crocus but I am sure many others sell aswell
