Advise required on planting different laurels

Hi everyone I have two options of planting laurels, either bare root or standard laurels in a pot, what is the main difference with the two? does the bare root take longer etc

Bare root plants get away quicker in my experience if planted in autumn or winter.. Potted is easier for garden centres to keep and sell and easier to establish if you're planting in summer

  • Bare roots are usually cheaper, good for a hedge. A standard is a bush grown on a long stem, decorative and good for a pot. So it depends what you want them for.
