So do mine, I have two, purple and Reddish . Both are terrific plants, but the rooted cutting seems to be exactly like the wild buddlejas, both in growth & height and the smaller simpler flower heads
this shouldn't be the case. A rooted cutting is a clone and identical to the parent, it's how most shrub cultivars are maintained from one generation to the next.
