Flowering tree for shady spot

Any suggestions please for a flowering tree (cherry type or similar) for a shady spot?  We have a lightly wooded area at the back of our garden (beyond our fence) and would like to plant a specimen tree in front of it.  Max height about 8 metres x 5 metres spread.  Soil type neutral/acid and dryish.  Have looked at some Cercis and Prunus types but all seem to need full sun.
