I'm busy weeding a flower bed today before I have to head back to Belgium for the week and will be planting out some gladiolus byzantinus I've had in pots waiting for a home. Hope that counts as roots as they'll have to fend for themselves for the rest of the week.
If you can get pics of the biodynamic garden, please do share.
There's a bio potager garden about 50 mins form here that's open to the public in July and August. Don't know if it's lunar too but plan to go next week or the week after and will take pics if there are any good ideas to share.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Staked Broad Beans yesterday and netted raspberries as thrushes threatening to attack. Big birds not on Cat List -wrens are a Puss preference. I was given a Globe Artichoke. Bought sack of horse manure from Super Market and Bio Compost as mine nowhere near ready yet. Gosh I wish we had our UK stables back -I used to grow everything on the muck heap! - Can I grow Rhubarb in pot or as book says will it be allright in border. Ideas welcome! Same question for Globe Artichoke.
Rhubarb prefers a border as it needs plenty of water and nutrients to do well. Give them a generous mulch every autumn. We have agreed to let our new horsey neighbours use our paddock as spare pasture. When asked about rent I said Poo. What? I want the manure please. Oh!
OH asked if we'd be growing globe artichokes. I said we'll certainly have room but they're likely to end up being ornamental given the faff of cooking and eating them. They like good soil and good drainage but also some moisture - https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/grow-your-own/vegetables/globe-artichokes

Great to have this feedback. I didn't really want the artichoke but it was a present, prefer the Jerusalem ones. Am going to give Rhubarb their own raised bed as Bio Market Garden lady and ancient norman neighbour have done this successfully. As I have 3 plants -I'll try one in the Border as well.
You are so lucky to have horses next door. All Trotters up here unless you go to the local Riding School. Having Showjumped and had Arabs -I really miss riding quality stock.
Anyway. Bengal just had fight with local Tomcat who was in OUR garden -Must go and referee with a bucket of water. Also lawnmower has gone quiet which means O/H is waiting for cup of tea!
Did you see the Moon last night? Stunning. Thick Sea mist this morning -Very magical walk along beach.
Hello , personally I would grow the rhubarb together and I always clear the dead leaves away and mulch but not on the crowns , obviously take any flowers off , had lots of flowera this year due to lack of rain and don't pick to much the first couple of years , like stewed rhubarb on porridge oats or with creme fresh
Globe artichokes , a nice plant and o/h does think they are a bit of a flap to prepare
Fancy a local tom cat coming into Bengals garden uninvited ?
Neareast I have gotten to a horse is riding a donkey at Weston super Mars 50 plus years ago ?
The allotment gets horse manure delivered free and we just help ourselves
Thanks for info. So good to compare notes and chat. Pushkin lost the mole as it trundled into the shrubbery leaving a mini mountain range behind it - Not seen again thank goodness. lily Beetle is a pain -I don't know anyone with an answer to the problem except perhaps moving-I have seen none here, but they do tend to appear when bulbs sprout and we moved well after that. Waiting for mine to flower. So so pleased I moved all my garden -Found out this morning that new owners have left it totally untended and now like a field -so so sad -They say never go back. Thank goodness I moved my treasures. Off to plant cuttings of lovely white buddlea I pinched from Market Carpark this morning - Perfume absolutely stunning. Horrible mornings getting darker now. 5.30am (4.30 with you) does not suit me at all. Still the birds were singing already which was cheering. Pushkin determined to go swimming in waterbutt last night -Caught him trying to prise the lid off. Off to UK next week (One day only Deal on The Shuttle) Looking forward to getting little foody extras we have run out of including some more Bean Sticks)
I always mulched the crowns of rhubarb in Belgium to protect them from prolonged heavy frosts. They liked it. My gardening friend who passes the old garden every Tuesday is apparently in despair at the state of my lovely old garden. I brought a lot of treasures but wish I'd brought more, poor things. Definitely not going back.
Currently in Namur so no gardening or even a garden as Possum lives in a 4th floor apartment. We're due home sometime this weekend. We grow our own bean sticks now - 5 huge clumps of miscanthus something that grows 4 to 5 metres high. It's deciduous so loads of new bamboo like canes every year.
Cracking storms at 1pm. I do hope the garden at home has had a good soaking too.

NO, let Pushkin have the mole. They're a menace!

Bio , I have come across using weeds as you said , however , would not put mares tail in it and need to be careful of seeds
Could do with a couple of weeks of resonable weather to get allotment and garden up to date after lots of visitors / holidays in May and June
Jureslum or globe artichoke , have both on plot and very different , which one have you got ?
