hey!

According to my gardening book ( I am new to all this) Jan is a good time to start off some plants that need a long growing season indoors, like alyssum.  I did so a few days ago.  The pack said they would take 14-21 days to germinate but they did so after 48 hours.  They are on a table very close to a patio door.  I don't have a window sill.  Already they look leggy to me and they are stretching to the light.  I keep turning them.  Is there any hope for them or have they had a terrible start?!

    Too early Asho. I reckon those instructions are only useful for people with heated greenhouses.

    Which allssum white or yellow

    I assumed the white, the yellow doesn't need indoorsimage

    White allssum will grow anywhere.

    Sow them late march

    These will flower.

    Throw the ones you have out if leggy.

    No need to be sown under glass indoors, only take a few months to flower.

    Should be in flower about June.
