5 Bed Crop Rotation

I have 5 beds 4ft x 8ft. I look to plant

(1) Potatoes

(2) Brassicas

(3) Legumes

(4) Tender Crops - spinach, chard etc

(5) "Root" Crop - leeks, fennel and Celeriac

What order should these be in for rotation?

    I don't have enough space for 5 bed rotation so can't help you.

    I have Googled 5 bed crop rotation and the 2nd entry that appears is very comprehensive and might help youimage

    I'm sure some of the veg' gardeners will also answer you on here.

    Potatoes, legumes, brassicas alway follow peas and beans,  root crops, last.

     So if you swap 3 for 2 , you have the right order.

    Thanks where does 5 fit in after root?

     

    I read somewhere that potatoes should not follow alliums - so I understand that to mean if I grow leeks and fennel I cannot put potatoes in that bed the following year
