Petunia Blight

Every year I have to cope with petunia root rot which kills most of my petunias( especially those placed together). I wash every container, use new compost, but as the weather warms up, they wilt. I read that carboxamide fungicides may help prevent this, but does anyone have a less harsh idea?

  • Hi, My neighbor told me to use diluted dish soap like from the bottle. Don't use a lot because that is what I did and it made all my plants "weep" and hang down. Another method I tried was diluted white vinegar and that seemed to help. They say air circulation is important.
