Walnuts on tree going black

Hi, we have 3 walnut trees at our house in Italy (Olive Grove Farm, Pescara). Many of the walnuts (15%) after picking are black inside and shrivelled up. Sometimes I have seen a small worm type maggot (in healthy ones). Is there a spray or something I could use? Thanks.
