  • I use iron and scarifier ,last time I got out 30 rubbish sacks ,with the snow this winter I can see the moss is back just as bad.

I have tryed making holes but the lawn is 500qu. meters and living where I do you can't hire the machine to do the job . Is there a animal I could use that would eat it ?

  • Hi I would welcome some feedback. I have returned from being away through the Spring and found that my lawn is covered in moss and weed. There are some areas that seem to be majority weed. Do I need to re sow or will the grass come back. The thatch is thick and so need airating but cant get rid of moss by scarifying yet as I believe it may be too early. What to do is my question ? I had started to dig out weed but have massive gaps in some areas

The roof of my old stone house is covered in moss. It's very pretty but some of my friends say I should remove it and some say I will only damage the old tiles if I do. Personally I would prefer to leave it if it won't harm the tiles. Can anyone help ?

Our concrete  roof tiles have chunks of moss on them, we were advised by a surveyer to remove it.

On removing some, we find it has eaten into the tiles so this years job is to remove it all.

The problem is the moss will retain water and this puts a great weight on your roof.
